For the 4th of July weekend, my sister brought up her boat from Cedar City. We went to the American Falls Reservoir and had a ton of fun playing in the water. Last year there was a beach, but this year the water covered the entire beach and came clear up to the rocks-I can't remember a time recently that it had that much water! Brittyn rode on the boat the entire day, and Bailey went out for about 30-45 minutes and was done (she is so much like me where she would rather be on dry land than in the water). About 4:30 pm the sheriff came through with a high winds warning and within just a few minutes there were whitecaps on the water and it was a race to get all the boats off the lake. They got the boat out, but it wasn't on the trailer properly, so they had to put it back in the water and put it back on right. Overall though, it was a nice relaxing day out at the lake and I am starting to get tan for the first time in probably 5 years!
