After spending a few days at the beach, we headed up to Killeen, TX and spent a night at Crystal's house and met up with Tanya again. After Killeen, we went to Lawton and OKC to show our kids around a little of where we lived when Joe was in the Army and to meet up with a friend in OKC. We went out to dinner, wrecked havoc with Brian and Sara's house and then headed up to Omaha. The weather was not so nice in Omaha, but we were still able to play with cousins and hit a few garage sales. The kids got to experience their first head to the basement moment when the tornado sirens went off, though I still don't think they really "get" it. We were also able to go to Bennington Days where they got to ride mini ponies and see the parade. It was so nice to just relax in one place after going for 2 weeks straight.
