Remington is in his carrier asleep on my back. This is about the only time that he slept the entire day, so a little stressful, but overall good.We are a little behind on blogging, but have had quite a bit going on lately. Three weeks ago, Joe had a 4 day weekend, so we made the most of it by packing in as much as we could. It started with the girls and Joe having a camp out in the backyard on Thursday and Friday nights. Friday night we also took everyone 4 wheeling up to Blackrock. Saturday morning we headed to Yellowstone for the rest of the weekend. Our neighbor asked Joe if he wanted to ride Yellowstone with him and his friend and if the kids and I wanted to tag along too, so needless to say, Joe was VERY excited to take his motorcycle and ride the park.
We headed out early Saturday morning and spent all day in the park. I was really disappointed for the first few hours because it took us about 4 hours to see anything other than a few Elk. Aren't there supposed to be tons of buffalo in Yellowstone? Obviously they were hiding from us and the girls were starting to get a little antsy because they could only see the elk so well being so far away from the car, but at last(!) we were able to find some buffalo and some deer also. It was a really long day, but we ended up staying in West Yellowstone at a hotel with a pool so the girls were extremely happy.
